The Department of Biological Sciences at the University of Notre Dame is pleased to present a seminar by Dr. Alex Perkins, a postdoctoral research associate at the University of California - Davis' Department of Entomology and Nematology and in the Research and Policy for Infectious Disease Dynamics (RAPIDD) Program at the National Institutes of Health. Dr. Perkins is a candidate for a faculty position in Epidemiology in the College of Science.

The seminar, titled "Heterogeneity, Mixing, and the Spatial Scales of Mosquito-Borne Pathogen Transmission," will take place on Thursday, January 30 at 4pm in 283 Galvin Life Science.

A chalk talk will follow on Friday, January 31 at 10am in 190 Galvin.
