Global Health as a Bridge to Security

Students and faculty filled the CoMo lounge to watch “Global Health as a Bridge to Security” live-streamed from Washington, DC by the Center for Strategic & International Studies (CSIS) on Friday, November 2, 2012. Our own Eck Institute for Global Health faculty members, Mary Ann McDowell, PhD, Miguel Morales, PhD, and special guest Bill Lang, MD, were all on hand for a lively and informative discussion after the viewing.

Dr. Lang is a past and current Notre Dame parent who served as the Whitehouse physician for 12 years, as well as overseeing Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs) for our US military. Thanks to the many who attended and participated! Let us all fight for better global health and make friends  - not enemies.

Thanks to ND Fighting NTD's for organizing the event and allowing us to sponsor the lunch!
