The Eck Institute for Global Health ia a co-sponsor of the 2013 Midwest Microbial Pathogenesis Conference.  One of our members, Shaun Lee, is an invited speaker.  To view a list of the speaker profiles click here.

The web site, including registration and abstract submission for the 2013 Midwest Microbial Pathogenesis Conference is now open (https://sites.google.com/site/20thmmpc/home). The conference webpage can also be accessed from Department of MI&I website (http://medicine.osu.edu/mii/Pages/index.aspx). The meeting will be held at The Ohio State University this summer, August 23rd -25th. Please register early, as the discounted rate of $175 for faculty and $80 for non-faculty will be available only until June 1st when the rate will increase ($200/$100). Invited faculty speakers will be registered automatically and will receive an email confirmation.

The abstract deadline is July 1st. Please be sure to follow the specific instructions when submitting your abstract. You must register for the conference independent of abstract submission.

For lodging, there are two hotel choices: The Blackwell (the site of all activities on Aug. 23rd and closer to the conference meetings that will be held at the Ohio Union on the 24th and 25th) and the SpringHill Suites. You will need to make your own reservations at these hotels.
