Frank Spesia joins the Eck Institute as a recent graduate from the Keough School of Global Affairs at Notre Dame, where he earned a Master of Global Affairs degree while researching education policy and community-based school improvement strategies. As a Global Health Research Associate, Frank works with the St. Joseph County Department of Health on a variety of health equity projects. His current research examines the impact, treatment and prevention of Adverse Childhood Experiences in the county. Frank is a former 5th grade teacher who holds an MEd from the University of Notre Dame and a BA in political science and peace studies from Notre Dame. He is currently volunteering as a community health consultant with the Catholic Medical Mission Board and as a strategic advisor with St. Bakhita's Vocational and Technical School in Kalongo, Uganda.
