The 4th International Conference of Crisis Mappers held at the World Bank

The 4th International Conference of Crisis Mappers (ICCM), hosted by the World Bank Headquarters and George Washington University, was held on October 11-14, 2012, in Washington, DC.  The conference brought together practitioners and policymakers from all over the country.  In attendance from the University of Notre Dame were Dr. Joseph Bock, Director of Global Health Training at the Eck Institute for Global Health, and Tom Marentette, Video Service Specialist for the Office of Information Technologies.  The purpose of ICCM DC was to enable leaders and experts from a multitude of fields to collaborate and bring new insight into crisis mapping and humanitarian work.  While attending the conference, Dr. Bock hosted a booth at the Tech and Analysis Fair, where he gave a presentation on "Conflict, Early Warning and Early Response."
